We arrived home safely after 11 hours on the road. It was not a bad trip. Ann drove a lot and I got some sleep along the way.
Our time with family in Destin was great. we did get out fishing on Friday. The fish were slow but we caught some. Ann was on her first deep-sea fishing experience and caught the first and the largest fish of the day. The water was almost calm so we did not have any seasickness.
There a lot of things going on. I am looking forward to the coming weeks. We are going to Iowa to help Clark and Vanessa with their move tomorrow. I start my temporary job at U of L on 7/23. We will be getting started with Crossroads Missions in the midst of all that. Of course we are hoping our house will sell and if it does we can add the excitement of moving. I will post more about our trip later.
